About Dover Little League

Founded in 1955, Dover Little League is a proud member of Delaware District 1, serving families throughout the Capital School District and the greater Dover, Delaware community.

For nearly 70 years, Dover Little League has provided local youth with the opportunity to learn the games of baseball and softball in a positive, structured, and community-centered environment. Our mission is to develop young athletes not only as players, but as confident, respectful, and responsible members of the community.

Dover Little League is committed to:

• Providing a quality instructional program that teaches the fundamental skills, tactics, and strategies of baseball and softball

• Preparing youth athletes for the next level of play while fostering a lifelong love of the game

• Promoting safe, healthy, and supportive environments where players can learn and grow with confidence

• Teaching core values such as respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, courage, effort, and commitment
